After a full day at Zion National Park, we drove in the direction of Nevada and stayed at a motel in St.George, UT. Next day morning, on the way to home, we stopped at Valley of Fire State Park, outside of Las Vegas.

This park is certainly a magic hour visit worthy for photography. Sunrise/sunset brings out the colors of the rocks.

We stopped at the visitor center and got the map of the park. It’s not a big park and there is one route to drive/see the place.

ThereĀ are quiet a few hiking trails but it is all open with no water source. So, plan accordingly and get ready for a 100+ temperature.

There are lot of interesting rock formations and a sort of wave lines.

Give at least half a day for the park. But, longer hikes are possible if heat is not an issue.
Next stop: Home !!
