On the way to Grand Canyon National Park from Bryce Canyon National Park, we made another unplanned stop at Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park. We had no idea of this park, just saw the board on the highway and decided to check it out.
Turned out to be a great park that has a campground, ATV activities, and one of the best sand dunes we have been on.
Super soft sands and pretty patterns and very accessible for walking, sliding or ATV rides.
On a Monday night, the campground was full. Must be a popular spot among the locals.
If we get a chance, we would go back and spend a night at the park and enjoy the sand dunes at sunrise/sunset time.
