A day trip out of Bangkok is the floating market trip. I took a public bus from Southern Bus Terminal in Bangkok. It took a little over two hours to get to Ratchaburi. As always I was not alone on the bus. The buddies for the day were a Spanish couple, German woman and a few Korean travelers.

So, if you are going on your own, make sure to leave early in the morning. Because, the market virtually shuts down in the afternoon.

I took a boat ride through the canal and ate all kinds of food while floating away….

Trip Review: Well, if this is your first ever floating market to visit, then go for it. If you have to Cambodia or Vietnam and have seen not-so-touristy markets, spending your elsewhere.
